About Me

Art has always been my passion, from the music I grew up on to the comics I seek out today. I always loved art class in grade school because it made me feel as though I was in control and out of control all at the same time. My dream is to attend art school and make a career out of my art, like that old saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life." But subtracting the part where people say that and then sit in an office reading statistics all day, or whatever it is people in movies do in office jobs. I want to be able to be creative and connect with other creative people to work on projects and build communities. I struggled a lot in my everyone-knows-everyone hometown, because somehow, despite knowing everyone, no one seemed too interested in what I had to say beyond the occasional "that's nice," and "very cool". I hope to finally have an opportunity for my work to be impactful, hopefully to someone other than myself.
