Elephant and Mouse

After discussing Gary Larson's 'The Far Side' with a mentor, I wanted to try out the simplified shapes and pen over watercolor techniques in his work. I settled on these images of an elephant and mouse, using two contrasting yet incredibly simple shapes as the bases to each character. I love the storyline between these two, with the timid giant and curious rodent bringing it out of its shell, and I hope to return to the concept in the future.
